摘要
This paper presents an analytical framework for managing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) based in multithematic approaches that can be applied in practical cases of intervention, particularly to support strategic planning processes. It is exp ected that these frameworks will contribute to increasing the capacity of NGOs to deal with different challenges, such as upgrading the institutional mission and vision; training new leaders and professionals in key areas, establishing new strategies for resource mobilization; knowing how to use the media to expand its social marketing; promoting improvements in production processes and social services offered to the community. As a practice, the stance adopted was to strengthen participatory and inclusive process, involving the choice of action research as the most suitable for the present case. Although in its initial phase, the study has to report some results for the case of Pro-Child, a NGO that develops a strategic planning cycle for the next five year s. Thus, after a brief retrospective of the trajectory of Pro-Child in recent years, took up the initiative to outline an agenda that would enable the strategic planning process for this NGO, including affirmative action programs that enhance their organizational capacity. At this stage of research, two proposals are emerging: the transformation of Pro-Child in a learning organization, as well as a reference on knowledge management in its area of operation.
