摘要
Decomposition of N2H4 and H2C2O4 has been studied by titrimetric method in HNO3 solutions in the presence of Pt/SiO2 catalyst and BAU activated carbon. Under static conditions, the rate of N2H4 decomposition in the presence of Pt/SiO2 increases monotonically with increasing temperature, Pt content, and amount of catalyst per unit volume of the solution. With increasing HNO3 concentration from 0.2 to 7 M, the N2H4 decomposition rate peaks at 1-2 M. Decomposition of H2C2O4 begins only after N2H4 is almost completely decomposed. When passing a mixture of H2C2O4 with N2H4 through a column packed with catalyst, decomposition of H2C2O4 begins before complete disappearence of N2H4.
