Challenges of sustainable development and water resources

The article focuses on the sustainable development of the environment, with emphasis on water resources, considering the paradoxical relationship between the reduction of environmental risks and the interests of economic and industrial development. From the notion of complexity, which perceives the human being as a member of the environmental, the article proposes a social awareness for the establishment of public actions to enable the solution for the problem concerning the environment sustainability, with the reduction of environmental risks. We aim a scientific analysis of sustainable development and sustainability of natural resources, especially water. From the deductive method, it discusses as sustainable development can resolve the risks of the advances of the agricultural frontier, using, consciously, natural resources, especially water, in compliance with the legislation devices. Therefore, the article will discuss ways of planning and management that enable the conservation of water resources and sustainable development.
