摘要
Satisfactory agreement between conductometrically determined etalamda0 +values and those calculated from the modified Zwanzig equation, assuming complete solvent slippage, has been obtained for cryptates [Li+211], [Na+222], [K+222] in the dipolar aprotic solvents propylene carbonate, dimethylsulfoxide and acetonitrile. For the first time, a shielded divalent ion, [Ba(2+)222], has been tested, resulting in fair agreement in these solvents. Ionic radii used in the calculations were taken both from crystallographic X-ray data, and from molecular models. Virtually complete dissociation of [Ag+222] dichloropicrate- in 1.2-dichloroethane is unexpected.
