摘要
The interpretation of C(pk), a common measure of process capability and confidence limits for it, is based on the assumption that the process is normally distributed. The non-parametric but computer intensive method called Bootstrap is utilized and the Standard Bootstrap confidence interval estimate for C(pk) is calculated. An initial simulation of two processes (one normal and the other highly skewed) is presented and discussed.
