We propose a method of matching a pulsed power supply system (PSS) for electric loads with increasing impedance, which makes use of the oscillatory properties of the RLC modules of the forming line, set at a certain phasing without switchings in the PSS during energy release. The method employs variation in the mode of energizing elements of the forming line, while its output elements are directly connected to the load and initially uncharged. Calculations show that application of such a PSS in an electric launching system with a railgun will ensure a substantial (up to a factor of two) increase in the efficiency of electromechanical conversion of energy.
