摘要
Although only a small minority of foreigners who live in Italy are illegal immigrants, the "irregularity" is a typical feature of the migrants' condition, either because a large part of them is exposed to the risk of becoming illegal, or because the immigrant is seen, in the hosting society, as someone who, by definition, is forbidden to reside in the territory of the state if more or less explicitly, not allowed to do so. Because of this, the lexicon of hospitality and, perhaps, also of integration, rather than obliterating the constitutive "irregularity" of the migrant, and his equally constitutive subalternity, somehow confirms it.
