摘要
Ethnic territory appears as the physical space where a group marks a region from symbolic and ritual practices. This geographical delimiting is executed by means of cultural elements that are established inside the ideology and cosmovision of these peoples. They are shown only in relevant rituals where the original function consists of the people's call, a process in which the identity emerges. In this text, the pilgrimage is examined as an element for the analysis of the construction of ethnic territory among the peoples Chichimeca-Otomi in Queretaro, Mexico.
