摘要：
Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) continues to occur in modem obstetrics and is responsible for approximately one-third of maternal deaths due to hemorrhage. This article reviews the predisposing factors for PPH with an emphasis on rapid evaluation of the cause and severity of PPH. Utilizing this information, a logical approach to the development of any expeditious management plan is presented.
