摘要
We report a detailed study of hot-electron nonlinear magnetotransport in a GaAs quantum wire based on Monte Carlo simulation. Our study shows that a magnetic field has many interesting effects on carrier motion, especially the drift velocity and average kinetic energy. In this paper we will discuss these effects and elucidate their origin. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
