THE PROPAGATION AND RADIATION OF A SOLITON IN A RESONANT NONLINEAR FIBER

The propagation and radiation of a soliton pulse in a resonant nonlinear one-mode fibre are studied under breaking the correspondence between the running frequency and fibre parameters, providing the pure solitonic propagation regime. Such breaking is interpreted as a perturbation of the integrable system. The perturbation theory for solitons is modified to incorporate the soliton radiation effect on a medium. The soliton velocity and amplitude are shown to be unvariable with the perturbation influence. The spectral density of the radiation power is found, exhibiting the significant nonmonotonous dependence on the wavenumber.
