摘要
This article is structured in an interview with Amir Haddad, who was born in the mining town of Guaxupe (Minas Gerais, Brazil) in 1937, a descendant of a family of Syrian immigrants. His appearance is unmistakable; his face always draws a wide smile. Friendly and good-natured, are also qualities of this man who has racked much of his life for various scenarios as a minstrel of our time. Since he was very young, he has longed for a living and society transforming theater which led him to investigate more than 50 years ago, from his hunter sensitivity, stories and memories, the soul of the Brazilian people. This festive and carnivalesque spirit of unquestionable carioca character will be present in all his works, picking the immediate actual pieces of stories and imprinting levels of dramatic quality that make them attractive in the eyes of the spectators.
