摘要
Aspects of Architecture and Standardization of National Spatial Data Infrastructure in the Context of Romania European Integration. The integration of GIS techniques in the ordinary life, the need for a quick dissemination and sharing of the spatial information and the diversity of their formats available for its representation, determine the need for standardisation of the technologies and policies governing the data access. These necessities determined the European Union to launch the INSPIRE initiative. In the context of the integration in the European Union, Romania started to act for the NSDI adoption and alignment to the European Union's standards, which are now in their development phase.
