This article presents quantitative data on two social groups of different labor market status: the employed and the unemployed. The first section analyzes levels of employment satisfaction; detailed assessments of work; and indicators of employee identification with occupational groups and places of work, job security, and occupational mobility and elasticity. The second section encompasses analyses pertaining to the unemployed and selected aspects of their situation, including time spent without work, observed causes of unemployment, level of occupational elasticity, and readiness to find a job, as well as satisfaction with selected aspects of life.
