摘要：
In this article, the author analyzes the terminology of a judgment handed down by a US court in a medical negligence case. Although both medical and legal terms are used, the balance here is clearly tipped toward the legal terminology. The author's study of this judgment has led her to create a mini-glossary of sixty English legal terms with their proposed equivalents in Spanish and Catalan.
