摘要：
The publication presents the simulation technology and software architecture used for development of Computer Assisted eXercises (CAX) in the field of the civil protection. The whole lifecycle of a complex simulation system from the early stages of system specification to the implementation and exploitation of the system are described. A case study on an integrated simulation of critical infrastructure interdependencies is done.
