摘要
Older adult population has increased very considerably in the last decades. Thus, to maintain a high quality of life in this group has become an increasingly relevant aim within public health. In this situation, physical exercise is considered a powerful tool to promote health and well-being. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to meet the necessity arised from previous investigations, where it was suggested that exercise routines should be complemented with activities that demand cognitive involvement. Therefore, we propose a multicomponent physical exercise program with cognitive involvement, which will improve older adults capacities.
