摘要：

Pastoral care was at the leading edge of practical theological development two decades ago. It seems now to have been relegated to the sidelines. This paper considers the apparent marginalization of pastoral care in a mission-led era and argues that many of the emphases and concerns of pastoral care will need to be re-discovered and reintegrated if mission is to have any chance of succeeding.
