CONTROL IN NONSTATIONARY SYSTEMS OF MULTIPLE RESOURCE UTILIZATION WITH RESPECT TO A TERMINAL CRITERION

Complex nonstationary systems for achieving technological processes using material resources, where part of the resources are irretrievably lost and part are used repeatedly, are considered. It is assumed that accumulation and expenditure of inventory as well as renewal of the resources are described by continuous time Markov processes, while their replenishment from external sources are represented by discrete time Markov processes. For a generalized criterion of system efficiency, an algorithm is given for determining the optimal productivities of subsystems in restoration and preparation for repeated application of the resources used, and also the amounts procured in compensating them.
