The literary field Germany - 15 years after the reunification

Since the fall of the regime in the GDR and the reunification of Germany, playing field and battlefield literature (as defined by Pierre Bourdieu) has undergone profound changes. The controversial debate that took place in Germany between 1990-1993 about German literature has fallen noticeably quickly into oblivion, whereas the interest in literary works which tackle the country's Nazi past has grown constantly in recent years.
