摘要
This paper present an enhanced adaptive scheme for the stabilization of multimachine power systems. The dynamic interaction of the power system is taken into account in deriving the generator stabilizing signal by developing an external dynamic equivalent model at the subsystem terminals. The generator model and external dynamic equivalent model are combined in order to have an overall design model in an input/output form. The stabilizer is designed using the Self Tuning Regulator concept of adaptive control. An on-line MIMO recursive least square identification algorithm and a Generalized Minimum Variance control technique are used for the stabilizer design. Simulation test results show the effectiveness and the superiority of the proposed adaptive enhancement scheme over both fixed parameter conventional stabilizers as well as adaptive stabilizers designed without consideration of the power systems interactions.
