摘要
Stress intensity factors for circumferential surface cracks in pipes have been derived using the finite element method. Both cracks located at the in- and outside of the pipes have been analysed. The derived solutions cover a wide range of geometry and load configurations and are presented in a tabular form that defines influence functions for the stress intensity factor along the whole crack Front. The solutions show good agreements in comparisons to other published solutions.
