Numerical results are reported for two cases of (1) a differentially heated corner region with a cold wall on the top as well as a corner formed by a cold vertical wall and a heated horizontal wall and (2) a cavity heated from below and partially cooled along one side. Finite element simulations indicate several interesting features of the flow structures in these two cases.
