摘要
In the present work, I analyze the structuralist reconstructions of Quantum Mechanics that Hettema provides in the light of the problem of the reduction of Chemistry to quantum mechanics through Quantum Chemistry. The goal is to show that those reconstructions operate as a counter-argument to the reductionist position since, actually, they do not reconstruct all quantum mechanics, but a "modified" quantum mechanics for the purposes of Chemistry. Finally, I highlight the role that this reconstruction of Quantum Mechanics plays in the discussions about the inter-theoretical links between Chemistry and Physics.
