摘要
The most neglected part of IS projects is the review stage -- yet this is the one place where one can learn to improve. But in order for a review to be effective it is important to plan for project review from the very beginning. Doing serious reviews will reveal what causes projects to be late or over budget, why the users are not satisfied, and why you have unhappy team members. A good review will point out ways of changing some things to improve the situation on the next project. This article shows how a systems analysis approach to reviewing the development of systems can help IS managers do a better job of estimating, analyzing requirements, designing programs and databases, coding, and managing projects.
