摘要
We have succeeded in constructing a consistent chiral hyperbag for hyperons which combines the Callan-Klebanov skyrmion for the meson sector and the hedgehog quark plus massive strange quark in the quark sector. The model incorporates the Cheshire Cat principle and hence is suitable for addressing, among others, such controversial issues as the strangeness content in the proton. It can also be applied to heavy-quark (i.e., c- and b-quark) baryons. Our construction clarifies - and obviates - the close connection recently observed in massive-quark baryons between the skyrmion model and the quark model. We discuss the link between the present approach and the Berry-phase approach.
