摘要
ATM video terminals will be needed by 1997 to boost the growth of broadband services. The key to achieving this goal is maximum integration of the terminals to reduce their size and cost. The challenge is to design and manufacture VLSI chips for these terminals. Eventually such VLSIs will integrate millions of digital transistors with analog circuitry on the same chip.
