The treatment of linguistic and literary competence through the social network

The current society demands citizens who possess a multidisciplinary literacy. In this way, the linguistic competence becomes into an essential part of education. In this study we determine the changes which the language is undergo and how we should address the degree of acquisition of this competence from the emerging technologies point of view. Through an documentary analysis and data collection we aim to set the necessity of incorporating activities of social network creation for achieve a process of teaching-learning significant and based on the students. On the other hand, we want to establish the importance of the management of the personal learning enviroment (PLE) and a considerable and selected personal learning network (PLN), besides the benefits that this models could provide based on the analysis of projects and experiences realised by other teachers.
