摘要：
To apply inverter drives successfully, the application engineer must define and understand the requirements of the application. He must be aware of the state-of-the-art technology in variable frequency drives. Advancement in technology has made possible the application of variable frequency drives in critical applications such as high-speed paper machines. This paper addresses the economic benefits of using ac drives.
