摘要
Different instability effects were observed during oxidation of W metal samples under CW CO//2 laser irradiation in an oxidizing atmosphere. In the course of the oxidation of metals in the field of laser light, in certain special conditions, various instabilities can be observed. Attempts have been made to analyze these phenomena theoretically. In the present study the laser oxidation of W is described with special regard to the circumstances causing instabilities.
