摘要
The behavioural features of the IMF B-z component for different solar wind velocity regimes have been studied. The study revealed a significant difference in variations of the B-z component between high-speed and low-speed regimes. Formation mechanisms for the IMF meridional component as well as the relationship of B-z with dynamical properties of the large-scale magnetic fields on the Sun are discussed.
