摘要：
2,3-dibromo-2-buten-1,4-diol(DBBD) was produced by the direct bromination of 2-buten-1,4-diol and was used for the synthesis of photo-curable unsaturated polyester resins(UPR) as a medium reducing combustibility. Tests were carried out for paint surfaces of UPR based on maleic and phthalic anhydrides and ethylene and propylene glycols. The resins containing from 10 to 40 wt% of DBBD also displayed UV-sensitivity with the use of photoinitiators.
