摘要：
This paper studies the E-optimality of block designs within sub-classes of competing designs with varying replications and unequal block sizes. Several sufficient conditions have been obtained for a design to be E-optimal within the classes considered. Some methods of constructing E-optimal designs in these sub-classes, satisfying the sufficient conditions have been given.
