摘要
The present paper intends to contribute towards reflections on the curriculum so as to challenge xenophobia, particularly focusing on an anti racist perspective to imbue it. The argument presented is that curriculum that challenges xenophobia could benefit from a post-colonial and multicultural perspective, as well as from whiteness studies that go beyond the recognition of cultural diversity and incorporate discourses that challenge exclusionary narratives. In this way, I initially discuss implications of a multicultural perspective in order to build curriculum that challenges xenophobia. Then, I try to reflect on some of the impacts of such a perspective on teachers and schools, discussing consequences and possible future ways for perspectives of anti-racist and anti-xenophobic in the curriculum.
