One of the Most Horrible Crimes: Regarding the Documentary "Bajo el limpido azul de tu cielo"

This article has pretty much to do with the documentary "Bajo el limpido azul de tu cielo" (1997) from Felipe Cordero and Hilda Hidalgo, which takes the myth of "La Llorona" to introduce the topic of infanticide in order to show that being a mother is not an option, but a social enforcement. Throughout this film, it is possible to listen to the words of some women who killed their own children. Moreover, there are also shown demonstrative images to present the way the society describes these women and the way these women see their accusers.
