SYSTEMATIC INTERGROWTH IN CRYSTALS OF ZSM-5 ZEOLITE

摘要
The systematic intergrowth observed with ZSM-5 crystals has been examined with transmission (TEM) and scanning (SEM) electron miscroscopy. Most frequently adjoining crystals are rotated by 90° around a common c-axis. This form of intergrowth is nucleated from small areas on (010) faces of growing crystals. On (100) faces of large crystals, ramps are also observed in association with impurities. A model is proposed for crystal growth consistent with these observations. © 1990 Butterworth-Heinemann.
