摘要
An automatic design procedure for axisymmetric induction heating systems is presented. The procedure uses the volume integral eddy current formulation known as the coupled circuit method. Starting from a preliminary tentative design, the position of each turn of the exciting coil is automatically adjusted, within specific boundaries, to move step by step towards the required synthesis. A package has been implemented and successfully applied to the design of inductors; its main features are reported together with numerical examples.
