The "digiculturality" or interculturality through ICTs: an emerging trend of humanizing e-learning

This paper offers a critical pedagogical reflection on the need to generate key pedagogical elements to foster innovation and social change in universities and other educational institutions for the XXI century. These key pedagogical elements can be generated using a digicultural approach; this is, from a perspective of interculturality through ICT. Thus, digiculturality - as an emerging trend of a more humanizing and inclusive e-learning - raises the need to promote intercultural competence as the essential constituent of virtual interactions in a constantly changing society.
