摘要
By structure factor analysis of LEED spot splitting, we show that antiphase domain walls in the Pb(110) c(2 X 4) structure consist of (2 X 2) structure units. An estimate of the energy difference between the two structures, delta epsilon 0.68 meV/Angstrom(2), is also derived from the temperature dependence of the spot splitting. These results lend support to the microfacet models of the Pb(110) reconstructions and further encourage their comparison to the microfacetted reconstructions of the other fcc (110) surfaces.
