Dynamics of the world avocado market

The purpose of this work is to know the dynamics of the world avocado market in a projected time scenario. For this purpose, a systematic search was made of information related to avocado production, import, and export data through the collection of specialized databases, making calculations and projections to know the behavior of the avocado market. It is concluded that the avocado is a promising fruit with a margin of growth in the international markets both in price and in quantity, finding that the per capita consumption of this fruit will tend to be 0.85 kilograms of consumption per person per year in the 2020; motivating producer countries to increase their production as an opportunity to generate income at all levels of the value chain.
