NEW APPROACHES TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF HANG-GLIDERS

Fibre reinforced plastics have had virtually no impact on the construction of hang-gliders up to now. However, because of their low weight and high strength they are ideal for flying devices which rely on the pilot's legwork to become airborne and are capable of landing. As a result of their deverse design possibilities, they form the basis for a new generation of more efficient hang-gliders.
