THE MARXISM INCONCLUSIVE OF THE DISCUSSION ANALYSIS: A LEGACY OF MICHEL PECHEUX

This paper argues that, from a historical perspective, Discourse Analysis goes forward both in theoretical and methodological terms and breaks paradigms that sustain the object as a signification determining and that affirms that the subject is owner of his discourse. In this historical perspective, the Discourse Analysis brings back the historic materialism statute, it proposes a reading form to the manners that men use to signify life. This research points to a methodological direction introduced by Michel Pecheux and those who hold a proposal whose analytical proceedings are defined based in the social theory Marxist references.
