摘要
The classical calibration procedure of a network or spectrum analyzer consists in compensating the spectra of the measured signals with calibration data. Hence, the time-domain values of these signals are not correct, and real-time compensation is impossible. In this paper a method is presented to compensate in real time for a nonideal transfer function of a data acquisition channel by means of a digital IIR filter. Real-time compensation of the amplitude and phase characteristics of an acquisition channel within a long term error which is, respectively, less than ±0.01 dB and less than ±0.1° has been obtained experimentally. © 1990 IEEE
