摘要
The problem of active suspension control of a two-degree-of-freedom vehicle traveling on a randomly profiled road is studied. The suspension system is optimized with respect to ride comfort, road holding and working space of the suspensions. Stochastic optimal linear control theory is used in solving the problem. The optimal value of the control variable (i. e. , the suspension force) is calculated. Then the average behavior of an optimally controlled system is calculated and compared to that of an optimal passive system. The influences of control force expenditure and the values of the passive suspension elements on the active system performances are studied.
