It also presents some non-state projects oriented towards the development of such media and discusses the role of state and non-state support of ethnic media in strengthening of multi-ethnic Russian nation. The study of key laws, resolutions, decrees, federal target programs focusing on the support of ethnic media allows for a deeper understanding of state initiatives aimed at the development of ethnic media, as well as safeguarding linguistic and cultural pluralism in Russia.
