Electrochemical study of zircaloy-4 in aqueous sulphate solution

摘要
The surface of zircaloy-4 electrodes was studied in 0.5 M K2SO4 solution by using impedance measurement as a function of potential and by polarization curves. Parameters of the faraday impedance, charge transfer and properties of passivation film were obtained. Faradayic impedance shows clear dependence on the applied anodic potential as well as on the time of polarization.
