摘要
A novel Mo-Ag-S cubane-like complex, {MoAg3S3Cl}(PPh3)3O, has been synthesized from AgCl, PPh3 and Mo2O2S(S2)42- in appropriate conditions, and its X-ray crystal structure determined. The complex comprises one cubane-like cluster core {MoAg3S3Cl}2+, three PPh3 ligands attached to each silver atom and one terminal oxo ligand attached to the molybdenum atom [1.67(1) angstrom]. The mean distance of the molybdenum and silver atoms is 2.980(2) angstrom, which is too long to effectively bond. The bond lengths of the three Ag-Cl bonds are in the same range and average to 2.810(4) angstrom.
