A technique to solve Toeplitz matrices has been generalized to solve block Toeplitz matrices, This method is more efficient than the Levinson recursion for moderately large matrix and block sizes, This algorithm is, in many cases, preferable to cyclically preconditioned conjugate gradient algorithms.
