摘要
The occurrence of Brucellosis among field hares in different areas of Austria was substantiated via pathological and bacteriological investigations. The pathological investigations showed granular inflammations in various organs, particularly in the genitals, liver, and spleen. The infecting agents isolated proved to be Brucella suis Biovar 2. The danger of transmitting this infection to wild boar and domestic pigs, as well as the possibility of human contagion were mentioned.
