摘要
The notion of the solitary scientist in search of truth is a romantic myth whose perpetuation is a barrier to progress in research, say psychologist Robert L. Kahn and former MacArthur Foundation official Denis J. Prager. It is time, they insist, to establish networks of scientists, working in different disciplines and removed geographically f rom one another, who collaborate on projects to advance human health and well-being.
